FinSteam was created as a new alternative to traditional wood-burning and electric sauna heaters, bringing together gas-powered heating, patented burner technology and Finnish engineering in one remarkably simple package.

Designed for places where electricity or wood heating may be impractical, FinSteam is built around the essentials of a great sauna: powerful heat, natural air circulation and generous steam from the stones. SAFETY FIRST FinSteam holds EU Type-Examination Certificate A01/002220, issued by AENOR, Notified Body No. 0099. During the assessment, the complete appliance was evaluated for factors including gas tightness, ignition, combustion stability, temperatures, emissions and the operation of its safety devices. Safety has guided the development of FinSteam from the very beginning. Its patented burner technology, heat-resistant construction, controlled combustion and automatic safety functions are designed to work together as one complete system. According to FinSteam’s current market assessment, FinSteam is the only CE-marked, electricity-free gas sauna heater available on the European market. When correctly installed, ventilated and operated, it provides a carefully engineered way to enjoy an authentic Finnish sauna without electricity or a chimney. Every FinSteam heater is equipped with an Oxygen Depletion System (ODS). If insufficient oxygen begins to affect the pilot flame and combustion conditions, the system is designed to automatically shut off the gas supply. A gas sauna heater covered by the EU Gas Appliances Regulation (GAR 2016/426) cannot be legally placed on the European market based on a CE mark or a manufacturer’s own statement alone. It must undergo the required conformity assessment and be supported by the relevant certificate, technical documentation, production conformity procedure and EU Declaration of Conformity.
